DRAGCHRIST... his very name wets the appetite for something inspired, and he meets the expectation with dazzling panache. Not Punk per say, it would however be true to say that the same ethics of snarling anti establishment apply. DragChrist first grabbed the spotlight in 2003 with the release in the USA of his debut single 'Starfucker - We Are The Club Kids', a slamming slice of industrial fuelled electronica which masterfully established his name and gender fuck visuals. The single rapidly caused sparks, securing a fan base on the underground club circuit and beyond, and signalled that DragChrist had undoubtedly arrived. His quest to control the dance floor continued as he once again projected his talent for individual self expression with re-newed ferocity. This came in 2006 with the release of the infectious electro cut 'VixXxen', which further catapulted his colourful persona as well as rewarding DragChrist with a major cross-over hit, achieving positions in dj club charts worldwide. The song also received the accolade of 11th 'Best Electro Track Of 2006', charting it higher than such industry legends as Atomizer, Marc Almond, Mekon, Peaches and Depeche Mode. The single also crashed into the top 40 of the Worldwide NRG Dance Charts in September 2006, and was backed by two alternative music videos which equally grabbed top spots in worldwide video charts as well as release on numerous music DVD compilations alongside such super-stars as Madonna and Kylie. DragChrist's credits in recent months include features on BillBoard, Promo Only, Rock America, Hollywood Music TV, as well as countless radio and internet music television networks throughout the world. DragChrist's music can also be obtained via thousands of music download sites. All this was achieved in 8-inch stiletto heels and PVC, which goes to provide a further example of the tenacity of DragChrist. Style is one thing and music entirely another, but fuse the two together and DragChrist becomes an artist undoubtedly cooking with fire. DragChrist kick-starts 2007 with the release of the single 'Fur Coat No Knickers', which comes complete with remixes crafted by Europes most cutting-edge underground producers such as the cult German Electro duo Noblesse Oblige, and delivered by the quintessential independent label Homotronic Records. The year will also see the publication of DragChrist's trash-tastic long awaited autobiography 'Too Fierce For Earth'. DragChrist has undoubtedly proved himself to be a rising star in the realms of alternative, underground electronic dance music, and will continue to captivate his followers with...'The Sound Of Gender Fuck'.
